THROUGH
Drawn by an unseen presence, a woman is led through a mirror into a quiet, unfamiliar space, where she encounters a reflection that does not belong to her. As the boundary between self and other dissolves, the world she left behind slowly begins to forget her.

Palerrique is an independent filmmaker and digital creator who explores the intersection of cinematic storytelling and artificial intelligence. Operating as a one-person studio, Palerrique leverages cutting-edge generative AI tools to craft immersive worlds and compelling narratives across various genres.
This film came from an interest in identity as something unstable, something that shifts depending on how we see ourselves.
Rather than telling a linear story, I followed a more internal movement. It can be seen as a character encountering a part of herself that feels distant, almost like a separate presence, and slowly getting closer to it.
AI became part of that language. Its imperfections and subtle inconsistencies weren’t problems to fix, but elements that helped express distortion, doubt, and fragmentation.
I was interested in how something internal — memory, fear, contradiction — could take shape visually. Not as something fully understood, but something you approach, confront, and begin to integrate.
The film doesn’t try to explain itself. It leaves space for the viewer to find their own meaning within it.
