Ceramist, Author, Director, Producer
Born in Beijing in an art-loving family, she graduated with BA degree in Sculpture and has dedicated herself to ceramics ever since. Her first book, The Art Garden: French Women Making Pottery, was the first publication to introduce ceramics in China by taking it as a lifestyle.
She is the director of the music video The Wheel of Time (2022) and the experimental poetry short film A Poet on the Cruise(2023), Co-director of The Mailbox of Dreams (2025), and the producer of the art feature film Ceramic Utopia (2025). Her works have been selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals.
Her latest short film, “the sky-blue carriage”(2025), is currently coming soon.
The film documents the idyllic life in the Alps, with the hope that such a way of life will endure in time and continue to inspire people around the world.
