La ragazza d'argento (The Silver Girl)

ITA: Alba è la protagonista di un film muto e in bianco e nero degli anni ’20. La sua vita monotona e ripetitiva cambia quando, grazie a un incantesimo, si ritrova nella Milano del 2025, dove conosce un ragazzo disilluso e rassegnato: riuscirà la magia a portare un po' di colore nelle loro esistenze fredde e solitarie?

ENG: Alba is the protagonist of a silent black-and-white movie from the 1920s. Her monotonous and repetitive life changes when, thanks to a magic spell, she finds herself in the Milan of 2025, where she meets a disillusioned and resigned boy: will magic bring some color into their lives?

Director Biography - Alex Scarpa, Margherita Giusti Hazon

BIOGRAFIE IN ITALIANO:
Alex Scarpa è regista e artista visuale: da anni porta avanti in ambito artistico uno studio approfondito sull’ampio spettro che spazia tra le relazioni e le emozioni umane. Come regista ha all'attivo altri tre cortometraggi: LUCE SPENTA, STAKHANOV (progetto che è stato premiato, reso disponibile in streaming su RAI Cinema Channel - ora RaiPlay, oltre che selezionato a numerosi festival in Italia e all’estero, tra cui il prestigioso ICFF – Italian Contemporary Film Festival di Toronto in Canada) e NON LASCIARMI.

Margherita Giusti Hazon è scrittrice, oltre che sceneggiatrice (ha realizzato altri due cortometraggi, LUNA e HATER-Z, premiati ad alcuni piccoli seppur importanti festival cinematografici). Nel 2018 ha pubblicato il suo primo romanzo, CTRL+Z (L’Erudita - Giulio Perrone Editore) che è stato un piccolo successo di pubblico e di critica. Specializzata soprattutto nella scrittura per ragazzi, da sempre scrive storie che mescolano i generi fantasy e romance. Attualmente sta scrivendo due nuovi romanzi, intanto il 2025 ha visto l’uscita di tre suoi racconti nella collana BOOKSHAKE edita da Einaudi Ragazzi.

Alex Scarpa is a director and visual artist: for years, he has been pursuing in the arts an in-depth study of the broad spectrum spanning human relationships and emotions. As a director he has three other short films to his credit: LIGHT OFF, STAKHANOV (a project that was awarded, made available for streaming on RAI Cinema Channel - now RaiPlay, as well as selected at numerous festivals in Italy and abroad, including the prestigious ICFF - Italian Contemporary Film Festival in Toronto, Canada) and DON'T LEAVE ME.

Margherita Giusti Hazon is a writer and a screenwriter (she has written and realized two other short films, LUNA and HATER-Z, which were awarded at some small but important film festivals). In 2018, she published her first novel, CTRL+Z (L'Erudita – Giulio Perrone Editore), a small success with readers and critics. She mainly writes for a young adult audience and loves to tell stories that mix fantasy and romance. She is currently writing two new novels, and 2025 saw the release of three of her short stories for the BOOKSHAKE Collection, published by Einaudi Ragazzi.
