Roommates, explores the complexities of a relationship when Janet (Bria St. Julien) prioritizes a wild night out with her coworker Natalie (Isa Viscarra) over a planned evening of reconnection with her loving roommate (Corey Jones). Janet's decision to sabotage their quiet night in quickly leads her to discover that neglecting her relationship can open the door to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances.

Director Biography - Henry Jones III Jones III

Henry Jones III is a versatile figure in the entertainment industry, operating as a director, producer, and manager through his company, Subtle Insight Entertainment. Born on February 26, 1972, in Orange, California, Jones III founded Subtle Insight Entertainment in January 2022 with a clear vision: to produce enduring projects characterized by compelling storytelling and memorable characters.

Subtle Insight Entertainment offers a range of services, including video production, scriptwriting, and artist management. Mr. Jones' producing credits include the short film Two Three, written and directed by Kobina Wright. He has also directed music videos for "My Vibe Song" and "Exxxotic."

His recent endeavor is the short thriller Roommates. For this film, Mr. Jones took on multiple roles, serving as director, writer, and executive producer. Filmed in Anaheim, California, Roommates features performances by actors Bria St. Julien, Corey Jones, and Isa Vizcarra.

Director Statement

Roommates is a true passion project, one that had been nearly fifteen years in the making. I tried to produce this film before, but the script underwent so many alterations by the cinematographer that I no longer recognized my original vision.

Determined to bring this story to life, I made a commitment on January 1, 2024: the goal was to make the film I wrote, assemble a team of creative individuals, and refuse to let any obstacles deter me from my goal.
