Director Biography - Renata Schelb, Patricia Colmenero

Patrícia Colmenero é escritora e diretora brasiliense filmando entre Brasília e Nova York. Explora temas como feminismo, decolonização e identidade brasileira e imigrante em suas obras. Autora do romance "Porque até a morte terei fome" (2012), dirigiu o longa "Na Barriga da Baleia" (2024) e vários curtas como o Santa Felicidade (2022), vencedor do prêmio de Melhor curta-metragem no Aasha international Film Festival, A hora dos tigreiros (2023) rodando festivais experimentais como o Experimenta Brasil e Phenomena, Period (2023), No cerrado havia sereias (2024) e os documentários Eclipse (2024) e You are invited to leave (2024).

Renata Schelb é produtora cultural e co-dirigiu "No Cerrado Havia Sereias" (2023) com Patrícia. Destaca sua atuação como produtora em "Horizonte", "O Vazio de Domingo à Tarde", "Afronte", "Sal a Gosto", e a co-criação do festival Rastro. Atualmente está desenvolvendo os projetos "Estrela" de longa metragem e "Histórias Paralelas do Fim do Mundo", curta metragem experimental de sua produtora Amora Selvagem Filmes, produtora com foco em produções originais e afetivas.
