Director Biography - Roberto Chávez, Gerardo Oñate

Both Chávez and Oñate come from backgrounds other than cinema, although life led them to live to do it and to do it to live. In this way, their desire and determination to bring to the public stories that could go out of the line, led them to create the Wuka collective of independent filmmakers, through which they have produced and presented various multi-award winning films at an international level.
