Director Biography - jonas myrstrand

JM was born i Sweden 1960. His a director, screenwriter, producer, filmcurator. He’s working in the filmindustri since 1985 in different genres; fiction, documentary, VR and FilmAPP:s.
His study filmmaking at Birkagården Filmshool, Swedish Filmistitute, Filmakademin/Gothenburg. Master in Akademin Valand in Gothenburg .
He create more than 25 shorts, features in 25 years. Nominated to Best Swedish Short for Confession 2001. Award Winning shorts: Blueberry II (2017), Separation 2019, The Bransch (2020) Multi Award Winner for VR-production: GBG Crane Memory (2022-23)
JM and his company Studio Jox at GothenburgFilmStudios.

Participated since 1992 with film/seminars at the Gothenburg Film Festival, like 19 times...
