She has become an inevitable witness to a tragedy that symbolizes a broken toy doll.

Tears is the first film of Remiye Zeynep Yalcinkaya, born in 2003.
This film, which from script to the editing belongs to the director and has received many screenings/awards in national and international festivals..
The director, who is a high school student, attended in the trainings and workshops about filming, also was one of the Turkey juries of EFA/European Film Academy - young audience Awards in 2017 and 2018.
When I was asked to produce a movie about the sea as the fountain of life, all I could picture before my eyes was a 3 year old dead body of a boy swept at the shores of my county, as the fountain of the end of life. And suddenly I was surrounded with the desire that I had to tell his story somehow.
When producing this short film, I refrained from using any dialogues for a reason. Just like we listen to, feel and get moved by the songs in different languages,I thought we should be able to feel the pain of people whose language we do not speak and understand.
We should remember though, the sea that is the source of all life in this world, cannot be a murderer. This must be somebody else.
