Squarci di Memoria is an autobiographical project born to explore the recesses of memory, focusing on the origins of our memories and how they often lie dormant within us. The images, sounds and emotions felt at a precise moment in our life are hidden within our memory, rising to the surface in our most intense and overwhelming moments.

Director Biography - Luisa Riccardi

Class of 1999, born and raised in the charming Catania with a great passion for documentaries. I graduated with honors in the Audio/Video e Multimedia course from the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo and I continued my studies with a master's degree in Audiovisivo e Cinema. I currently work at Rai Documentari as a multimedia programmer.
Aspiring director and producer, my first short film is "La Cura" (Caring), shot independently during the Covid-19 pandemic. During my academic career, I wrote and directed the short film "Con amore, Ines" and edited "Non Ancora," a short film directed by Claudia Viani.
