*Synopsis
The Bright and cheerful girl, Spring-Pan, who came to the wonderland "Coco-Non-Tea", meets funny and mysterious characters and spends a good time singing and dancing together. The dreams of Spring-Pan is to have a very enjoyable journey. Spring-Pan's mom is also watching her dream come true. At the end of journey, Spring-Pan also returns to her own world and says goodbye to her companions she met.
This is a small story of a fun journey like a day trip to the fantasy world.

The short animation "Spring Pan Let's Go!" Is an animation work that uses 3DCG and motion capture to incorporate elements of dances such as musicals, ballet, and Irish dance. A beautiful and fun musical animation with songs and dances throughout. It does not fight or hurt people. We aimed to create a work that is wholesome, positive, and enjoyable regardless of race or nationality.

Director Biography - Jet INOUE

Jet INOUE (井上 ジェット) is a Japanese animation director, producer, screenwriter, author, charactor designer, and manga artist. Kazuo Koike Drama Village School (小池一夫劇画村塾) 12th gen. He belongs to the JAA (Japan Animation Association).

Jet INOUE is an artist name. his rean name is Masaki Inoue.
Jet wears a fiery helmet to make himself look like a cartoon character. But it is not worn in everyday life.

Born in Kanagawa prefecture, Jet expressed interest in manga, musical and video game from an early age, Jet has got the Tetsuya Chiba Award (Manga award) for Honorable Mention at the age of 19.

Jet joined Sony computer entertainment in 1997. Jet career began in the video game industry.
After that Jet has drawn storyboards for famous game titles, "Street Fighter" ,"Tekken" and so on. Jet has also been a game designer for several games.

Jet is also involved in the production of several TV animations "Gintama", "SD Gundam" series at Sunrise Studio in the famous "Gundam".
Jet has make the charactor of Inagi-city in Tokyo with Kunio Okawara(Original designer of Gundam).

In 2020 Jet completed his long-held goal to make a musical animation. Jet planned, produced, wrote and directed the project.

Director Statement

I wanted to eliminate negative elements to the utmost limit and create bright and positive works that fuse art and entertainment.

Every country and society has various social and living problems.
Sometimes there are problems that are difficult to solve.

Making them into animation works and reporting them may create the power of social solution. But those who face those problems also need to gain positive power.

I want people with problems to have a belief "Don't worry. Everything's Gonna be Alright", and have strong dreams and hopes will give them courage, and they will have the power to break through the status quo.
The theme of "まえへすすもう!=Let's go (foward)" has such a meaning.

Japan, where this anime was made, is almost peaceful country, but it has many rules and has various social problems created from the feeling of social blockage.

Violent elements such as "battle", which have become popular in Japan and have become one style, may confirm such a social situation. Getting the stimulus is inflated.

I wanted to direct that kind of stimulus toward art. That's not violence. I want to give the viewer a positive power by generating the stimulus of art in the vector of positive.

Therefore, in this work, the theme, the song, the dialogue, and the movement of the character are all eliminated from the negative elements to the utmost limit, and the positive elements are put out on the whole surface. You can find that when you see this animation.

Just as there are circuses such as "Cirque du Soleil" that feel artistic, there is entertainment in the world that everyone can enjoy. Against this background, I made this work because I wanted to make even one work that children and families can enjoy without feeling violence and that can be enjoyed in a wide range of cultures in a low-context. Therefore, "Spring-Pan Let's go!" is a work that is conscious of both entertainment and artistry.

●ネガティブな要素を極限まで排除し、芸術とエンタテインメントの融合した明るく前向きな作品を作りたいと思った。

 どのような国や社会でも、さまざまな社会問題や生活の問題を抱えています。一筋縄で行かない問題もある。
 それらを作品にして報道することが社会的な解決の力を生むこともあるでしょう。ですが、それらの問題に直面する人々は、前向きな力を得ることもまた必要です。きっと上手くいくという気持ちを持ち、強い夢と希望が勇気を与え、現状を打破する力を得てほしい。「前へ進もう」のテーマにはそのような意味が込められています。

このアニメが作られた日本は、平和な国ではあるが、たくさんのルールがあり閉塞的な空気から生み出される様々な社会問題を抱えています。日本で人気があり一つの様式になってしまったバトルなどの暴力要素はそういった社会情勢を裏付けたものでしょう。刺激がインフレしています。

そういった刺激を、芸術のほうへ向けたかった。前向きというベクトルの中に芸術という刺激を発生させることで、見る人に前向きな力を与えたい。だから、この作品では、テーマ、歌、セリフ、キャラクターの動きに至るまで、極限までネガティブな要素を排除し、前向きな要素を全面に打ち出している。それはアニメ作品を見たときに確かめることができる。

シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユなどのサーカスに芸術性を感じるものがあるように、万人が楽しめるエンタテインメントと言えるものは世界にはある。こういった背景から、暴力を感じさせず、子供とファミリーが楽しむことができ、ローコンテクストで幅広い文化で楽しめる作品を一つでも作ってゆきたいと、この作品を作った。そのため「スプリンパン まえへすすもう!」はエンタテインメント性と芸術性の両方を意識している作品となっている。
