Director Biography - Carlos "Los2k6" Smith II

Born Carlos Andre Smith II, Los2k6 is a rising film director based in Jacksonville, FL. His heavy influences come from urban 90's films such as "Friday", "House Party", "Boys N The Hood", etc. Also looks up to some of his favorite directors such as John Singleton & F Gary Gray. Los2k6 began his filming journey in 2006, starting with recording videos of high school friends and is now filming bigger projects from skits to feature films. He has worked with hundreds of artists starting from Duval, and has even worked with other rising talents from the city. Los2k6 released his first two experimental feature films in 2013 & 2014, "Homeboys" & "Homeboys: Meet the Crew". His latest successful project "21st Friday", a comedy parody based on the original "Friday" film has brought him to the next level and isn't planning on stopping anytime soon. His latest film "SoulHood" will be his biggest project to date.
