Based in Los Angeles, the young filmmaker and actor, Soufiane El Khalidy, just finished working on the new hit Series "Riley Parra" produced by Tello Films playing the supporting role,called Redwan, and the upcoming feature Film, "Shockwave", portraying the character of the Young Militant. He was also featured on the 8th season of NCIS: Los Angeles as, Sayid Yratti. Between 2016 and 2017, Soufiane has been involved in 56 Los Angeles productions including Hollywood movies, commercials, web series, and tv shows, both as a talent, stuntman and member of production departments.
Soufiane earned his master degree in the film production program at the prestigious Full Sail University (Orlando,Florida) in March 2016. His first experimental short movie, "Flags and Masks Down", and his vampire short script "JukeBox Zero", were both selected in 32 film festivals around the world, including Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, Miami, Orlando, Cleveland, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Malta, and Kenya.
In 2015, His movie "Flags and Masks Down" was premiered at Mostras Amazonas de Cine in Brazil. In September 2015, He won the "Best Short Film" category for his outstanding performance as a director at "Los Angeles InterShort Film Awards". In July 2016, his writing skills on "JukeBox Zero" earned him a semi finalist award on Phoenix Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. The same script has also been nominated by "US Hollywood Golden film festival" in its 2017 edition. His latest action screenplay " Just Like You Imagined" was nominated as a semi finalist at Los Angeles Cinefest, in August 2017.
As a producer, Soufiane was granted the semi finalist award in the category of " Best Producer" for his movie "Flags and Masks Down" among 4000 submissions from 105 countries around the globe, at the International Open Film Festival.
Soufiane is not only a new promising talent as a director, producer, writer and actor, his work as a production designer and art director on the movie " Bad Taste" was also praised by the film professionals, and has helped this production to be accepted in many American and international film festivals.
He's the first Moroccan to earn the "Full Sail Global Achievement Scholarship" for his works in marketing, filmmaking, castings and movie sets back in Florida, Ourrzazate, Casablanca and Marrakech.
In 2013, the general public in France and Morocco started to notice his work when he was the exclusive reporter for Fashion Maroc and its partner, the international modeling agency, Elite Model Look Morocco, during 3 consecutive years. Furthermore, he was the voice of radio channels' commercials, an actor for ads and the creative writer for national magazines (Fashion Maroc, Tjeune, Snobbish, Artisthick).
In addition to his extensive experience on movie sets, modeling, and production design, Soufiane has a Bachelor Degree in Business at Al Akhawayn University, in Morocco. Finally, he was also the manager assistant for the French luxury firm based in Casablanca, called Agence N, and the internationally acclaimed producer, Dino Sebti, at Sigma Technologies.
