Nick Adrian is currently a sophomore in college who is pursuing his dream of being a filmmaker in any way he can. In the fall of 2015, he and his best friend decided they were tired of sitting around and not filming. Nick cast his friend as the lead role in "Like A Complete Unknown", a silent and almost one-man short film about a lonely college student who finds solace in his pet rock. Nick was determined to make a short film that seemed original compared to others, and used what resources he had to complete his task: his iPhone and the iMovie app. The two friends formed Coffee Whale Films, their own film production company that took its name from the coffee shop where they discussed ideas. Coffee Whale Films' next project would be bigger and better; shot on a DSLR camera, included sound, and housed a diverse cast. This project came to be known as "Smash House", and centered on two con men attempting to get their most recent get-rich-quick scheme running, to disastrous results. This time, Nick recruited friends to play the parts, even taking a role himself as the inquisitive but doomed Police Officer. Nick Adrian has several more projects in mind and is more than ready to start them.
My goal is to make quality, original films. I intend to make each one different from its predecessor. To challenge the idea of filmmaking and to tell a great story in the mean time.
