"Skye" is the story of Charlotte and Cale, a couple in their high-school senior year who must confront the emotional realities of teen pregnancy. This story takes place in a world in which they are fortunate enough to seek out a safe and careful abortion. However, they still must contend with the personal challenges inherent to this decision.
Although the film partly originates from personal experience, the story itself was given its lifeblood by women who shared their accounts with me.
It is my hope that this film contributes a meaningful perspective on the topic; that it conveys with honesty how people respond while in this situation. I hope that I have captured it with precision, understanding and tact.
Sincerely,
Paul
