Sinead Stoddart is a Graduate animation student from UCA Farnham and UCA Epsom in England. She completed her animation degree in the summer of 2017 and her Creative Education Post Graduate in the summer of 2020.

Her work currently includes three short animations which have made their way around in the festival circuit in previous years:

“One Too Many” was Sinead’s first solo animation made whilst at UCA Farnham in the first part of her second year September-January. This stop motion has currently shown at over 50 festivals internationally since January 2016 and received nearly 20 official selection laurels, whilst winning a 3 Finalist Laurels and 5 awards internationally including "Best Use of Yarn", "Winner of Production Design for Animation" at the Portsmouth International Film Festival 2016 and "X-Tra Short Award" at Student World Awards in 2017.

“Munchies” was Sinead’s second solo animation made in the second half of her second year January-May. This animation was shown in over 50 film festivals internationally since May 2016 and has already received 2 awards at Southampton Film Week, 2 Semi-Finalist laurels, and 3 Finalist laurel as well as 25 official selection laurels. “Tone Death” was Sinead’s graduation film at UCA Farnham which was completed in May 2017. Tone Death has one 3 awards internationally including “Best Young and Emerging” and “Best Animated Short”.

Sinead’s latest short film “Isolation Celebration” was created shortly after her final week on her post-graduate course during the Lockdown Period of Covid19 in the UK. The tongue in cheek short was her way to show that during the uncertain time, one needs to celebrate after years of hard work and learning.
