The Alexandrian youth (Asim) discovers that his place of work in the city of Rosetta is inhabited by a fairy that aims to drown men, and he gets involved in fighting it, so he seeks the help of an old man who is known for his victory over the pound in his youth, the old man grants him the covenant to defeat the pound, but the covenant obligates him to remain a guard at the door of the sea throughout his life.
