Synopsis
ek admi ko apni wife ke sath rahna yaad ata hai. Vo admi ab boodha ho chuka hai, mumbai me rahta hai. Uskey 2 bete aur ek beti hai. Bada beta delhi me job karta hai. Admi ka naam virendra hai, badey bete ka naam tinku, chotey ka naam pinku and beti ka naam bittu hai. Bittu apni maa ki tarah hi virendra ka khyaal rakhti hai. Virendra ki wife mar chuki hai, bittu ko janam dete hue wife mar jati hai., ye baat virendra ko bahut yaad ati hai, wife ko bahut miss karta hai. Ek property bechna chahta hai. Ek broker se baat chal rahi hai. Tinku ki wife arti tinku ko kahti hai ki mumbai aa jao , aisa na ho ki papa paisa humey na de. Sabkey apkey sapney hain un paison ko lekar. Ek kabadiwala ghar ata hai. Jiskey paas se miley jadui handlense se virendra ko insaan ki asliyat dikhney lagti hai. Bittu uska bahut khyaal rakhti hai par vo baki family member ka sath deti hai. Handlense me arti, pinku sabhi ki asliyat virendra dekhta hai, dinner ke time bittu ko handlense se dekhney pe virendra apni wife ko dekhta hai, aur handlense gir kar toot jata hai. Virendra ki ankh khul jati hai. Ek kabadiwala aya hai jisko virendra ne raddi bechney ke liye bulaya tha.

English Synopsis

Virendra is an old man, who lives in Mumbai, misses his dead wife. Virendra has got 2 sons, and a daughter, named Tinku, Pinku and Bittu. Virendra’s wife Maya died while delivering this baby girl Bittu 18 years back. Bittu takes care of virendra as maya used to take care of him. Virendra wants to sell his property which is in delhi, for that, he talks to
Gayaas Miyaan ( a property broker). Tinku works for a company in delhi. Tinku’s wife Arti asks him to talk to father virendra about money which is going to come home after
selling property. Pinku plays with stock market, usual losses happened to him , pinku wants to get money to recover the losses. But nobody shows that they are after money.
Virendra accidentally finds a hand lens while selling garbage, through which virendra sees everybody’s real face. While having dinner virendra tries to see bittu through hand
lens, he sees his wife maya instead of bittu. Somehow hand lens fell on the ground and got broken. Virendra awakes from a dream. And there is a scrap dealer at his door.
WRITER’S NOTE
An old man in our society always feels alone when his loved one is no more. He thinks that everybody loves him, but reality says otherwise. Magical hand lens is a symbol of a
mind’s meditative state, in which person sees the things as it is, not, as person wants to see. Seeing everything in a deep sleep makes storyteller comfortable to tell story because
sleep is a meditative state, lot of things can happen while sleeping. Story belongs to each human being on the face of this earth at almost every part of their life.
