Rewilding The Skies
Once an endangered Timneh parrot is taken from the wild, it's unlikely that it will ever fly free again. Even for the lucky ones that get rescued from wildlife traffickers, the process of rehabilitation and relocation can take years. This documentary follows the difficult journey of the team of conservationists at the Libassa Wildlife Sanctuary working to release rescued animals.

Sanshey Biswas and Manon Verchot are a documentary-making duo. Their latest documentary, Rewilding The Skies, follows the story of a team of conservationists in Liberia who are on call 24 hours a day to rescue and re-release wild animals.
"Reporting on this story took many unexpected turns. What was supposed to be a simple story of release turned into a story about how human interests can stand in the way of conservation. We are so grateful to the team of conservationists who let us accompany them to tell this story, even through some really difficult moments."
