Reg Noyes was born in Cardiff and is a graduate of the International Film School Wales. Since 2006 he has worked freelance in film development for a number of high profile production companies, including StudioCanal UK, Universal Pictures, Pinewood Pictures, CinemaNX, Kudos, and the Picture Production Company.
Reg has also worked as a script editor for such notable writers and directors as Allan Scott (Don't Look Now), Dominik Moll (Le Moine), Oliver Parker (Johnny English Reborn), Simon Halfon (Sleuth) and Carol Morley (The Falling).
In 2011 Reg wrote, produced and directed his first professional short, There She Goes, which starred Colin Salmon (007’s Tomorrow Never Dies), Stephen Wight (Sherlock), Brian Hibbard (Twin Town), Menna Trussler (Pride) and Eloise Joseph (The Inbetweeners Movie).
There She Goes went on to be selected by 9 international film festivals: Short Shorts Film Festival 2012, Japan; Motovun Film Festival 2012, Croatia; Tirana International Film Festival 2012, Albania; Izmir International Short Film Festival 2012, Turkey; London Short Film Festival 2013, UK; Lewis Auburn Film Festival 2013, USA; CineRail 2013, France; Portabella Film Festival 2014, London; and Ffwrnes Ffilm Ffest 2015, Wales.
In 2015 Reg completed The Masterful Hermit, a 35-minute medium length romantic drama starring Charlotte Ritchie (Call the Midwife), Anna Mountford (Holby City), Maryam d'Abo (007’s The Living Daylights), Clive Francis (A Clockwork Orange), Lisa Jen Brown (9Bach), Stephen Wight (Sherlock) and John Cording (Superman).
Reg is currently in development on a feature project, working in partnership with There She Goes and The Masterful Hermit DoP and co-producer Chris Openshaw.
