Director Statement

REBOOT started out as a way for me to challenge myself and blossomed into a wild, rollercoaster of an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I took inspiration from many things and people and wanted to honor them all through this film. A lot of my focus from the beginning was to develop a character that would represent the under-represented but still embody the essence of a teenager. I was also very zoned in on making a fun, visually exhilarating short film. Guiding a team of artists has helped me grow a lot as an artist myself and it’s exciting to prepare for what comes next.
