Rebirth
Vishal the young Indian guy who lives with his Lithuanian wife Agne must scatter his father's ashes into a river based on Hindu religion in order to start his father’s spiritual rebirth, but in Lithuania scattering ashes is a prohibited by Catholic church and law. Meanwhile 3 thieves break to their flat and steal their belongings including box of ashes. lexander Sadreddini is an award winning British-Iranian writer, producer, and director known for his debut feature film, Miracle Zone, a mystic post-apocalyptic adventure drama that he wrote, produced, and directed in 2023 and completed in 2024. Throughout his career, Sadreddini has created several short films and music videos. His second short film, Rebirth, a dark comedy, won Best Comedy Film at the Madrid International Filmmakers Film Festival in 2015. He was selected as the President of the Jury for the short films competition section at the 10th Muscat International Film Festival 2018. Most recently, Sadreddini was chosen as a jury member for the prestigious Sochi International Film Festival 2024.
He also continues working for BBC in London as Visual producer since 2008.
Film is a powerful medium to express my philosophy of life. Before starting to make films for many years I was using other visual art mediums to express human emotions and our relation with life. Film making has opened a new horizon for me to communicate and share my thoughts with wider audience.
