Avatars of Destiny: The Saga Begins

đź”® Avatars of Destiny Series

Concept Short Film – A Techno‑Mythic Epic Where Prophecy, Science, and Spirit Collide.

Step into a universe where ancient prophecy meets futuristic innovation, and destiny is not inherited it’s unlocked. Conceived by visionary author Ess‑Jee Rautenbach, Avatars of Destiny begins as a concept short film, a proof‑of‑vision that blends epic fantasy, spiritual sci‑fi, and techno‑mythic storytelling into a cinematic journey of transformation.

At the heart of the saga are four extraordinary heroes:

Elara – the cyber‑seer haunted by visions of fractured timelines

Thorne – a battle‑scarred warrior forged in forgotten wars

Zara – a rogue alchemist who manipulates matter and meaning

Kael – a reluctant technomancer torn between logic and legacy

Bound by fate and drawn to the Nexus Key an ancient artifact capable of reshaping reality they must navigate mystical realms, WWII experiments, and collapsing simulations to prevent a multiverse implosion.

As revealed in the Fearless Wolf Reads feature, this saga is more than entertainment. It is a spiritual and psychological mirror, echoing coaching wisdom and prophetic fiction. Each frame of the concept short pulses with cinematic energy, emotional depth, and symbolic clarity inviting audiences to confront fear, forge purpose, and awaken the avatar within.

Director Biography - Ess-Jee Rautenbach

Born in 1980 in Kempton Park, South Africa, Ess-Jee Rautenbach has always been a dreamer drawn from childhood to myth, meaning, and the transformative power of story. That early spark became a lifelong mission: to awaken the hero within and craft narratives that inspire legacy, hope, and spiritual depth.

Ess-Jee carries a vision shared by many once-unknown visionaries creators like MrBeast, Jeff Hobbs, Jeremy Camp, and Marc Warner of American Underdog. He sees himself in their shoes: persevering through rejection, navigating fierce competition, and refusing to give up. Like them, he believes that the unknown can become known and that breakthrough is born from relentless belief.

In 2012, he penned his first book, planting the seed of a mythic saga. After nearly 14 years of silence years devoted to coaching, creating, and refining his voice he returned to the page with renewed purpose. The result was Avatars of Destiny, a visionary series that fuses fantasy, sci-fi, and faith into a cinematic journey of identity, redemption, and legacy.

His debut coaching guide, The Avatar Effect, has been hailed as a life coaching bible an emotionally resonant framework blending quadrant-based psychology with mythic storytelling. It earned the prestigious Illustration Award, judged by Disney veteran Mark Wayne Adams, honoring its symbolic power and visual clarity. Avatars of Destiny: Book One received the Titan Award, recognizing its creative excellence and bold contribution to speculative fiction.

A committed Christian, Ess-Jee’s faith is the heartbeat of his creative vision. Like Paul of Tarsus, he sees storytelling as a vessel for spreading the Good News subtly yet powerfully. Inspired by the mythic clarity of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, he weaves spiritual truths into fantastical worlds that speak to the soul.

His latest release, Avatars of Destiny: Reckoning, has earned international acclaim:

Finalist (Top 4) at the Legendary Fest in Tucson, Arizona

Official Finalist (Top 12) at the New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles

Ess-Jee’s books have received 5-star reviews across platforms, including Readers’ Favorite, where critics praise his work as “cinematically charged” and “transformative.”

Whether mentoring clients, crafting pitch decks for producers, or visualizing career milestones through cinematic imagery, Ess-Jee remains committed to one truth: Stories shape destiny and faith gives them wings.

Director Statement

“Seeing the Diamond in the Ghost City”

I see myself as one of the creators of Forest City not in geography, but in spirit. Forest City, the ambitious planned metropolis in Johor, Malaysia, was envisioned as a futuristic haven: smart, green, luxurious. Yet today, it’s often called a “ghost city,” its potential obscured by silence and under-occupancy. To me, that city is not a failure it’s a metaphor. A diamond buried beneath the dust of misunderstanding and missed timing.

My creative journey mirrors that landscape. Avatars of Destiny, the saga this film is based on, is a world of mythic depth, emotional intelligence, and visionary architecture. It’s a story built not just to entertain, but to awaken. Like Forest City, it was designed with layers of meaning, strategic elegance, and a call to the future. And like Forest City, it has yet to be fully seen.

This film is my invitation to the world to those with eyes to see beyond the surface. I believe there are others out there who recognize latent brilliance, who understand that some creations are ahead of their time. My hope is that this adaptation will reach those visionaries, those architects of destiny, and together we’ll breathe life into what was once overlooked.

We are not just telling a story. We are reclaiming a city of the soul.
