Director Statement

I was very inspired by Jonas Mekas' style of filmmaking. Although his influence is probably noticable it's not like I'm remaking any of his films with ''Winter Video'', it's my project. For a few months I took my digital camera with me wherever I went and whenever I felt like something was worth seeing, I shot it. What's on screen is indifferent from how I saw my days, and I tried to edit it like that aswell. I wanted the cut to feel true to my experience of life. At times funny, other times melancholic. It was an amazing experiment to work on, especially the ending.
