Director Biography - Sam Picariello

Sam Picariello is a filmmaker based in London, England. He works full-time as a Creative Director with Large Format Films. He started his career in a video-editing role at Disney Channel UK and has since worked across a number of agencies, writing, directing and editing commercials, series and campaigns for brands such as Disney, Pokémon and Paramount.

My goal with ‘Boot’ was to create a film that effectively explored the dynamic and the relatability of couples navigating stressful situations, so hopefully you watch this film and see a little bit of yourself in how James and Gemma handle their mess.
