Giulio Andreolli. Beyond the Landscape

Giulio Andreolli (1951-2019): Engineer, Architect, and Landscape Designer from Rovereto, Trentino. Five years after his passing, family, friends, and colleagues come together to paint a portrait of the professional who dedicated himself to the development of the region and the debate on the Trentino landscape. The footage showcases his most significant projects: public and spiritual spaces (San Giorgio Church, Noriglio Cemetery), urban life (the redevelopment of Via Dante), and cultural venues (the Mart Cultural and Museum Hub, designed with international architect Mario Botta).
Interviews portray "Giulio" with affection and admiration for his commitment to regional development. Archival sources, such as "This is How the Mart Was Born", enrich the narrative. The documentary follows the director—a young engineer-architect—on a journey to explore and highlight Andreolli’s work and dedication to his land.
