Mikey Thunder, once the pride of Australian heavyweight boxing, finds himself battling not opponents in the ring, but the demons of addiction. After hitting rock bottom, he's forced into a desperate situation by his father, whom he hasn't seen in ten years, paying off a debt to a ruthless motorcycle gang. His motivation? Winning back the love and trust of his estranged daughter. As he fights to reclaim his life, Mikey discovers that redemption lies not only in victory in the ring, but also in confronting his inner turmoil and finding the strength to overcome it.

Luke Styles is a versatile talent, experienced as an actor, writer, and producer. He recently appeared in the SBS TV series "Swift Street", and has also made a name for himself behind the camera as a dedicated and passionate filmmaker. Throughout his career, Luke has been committed to telling stories that explore the human experience, with a particular focus on the theme of redemption. Whether bringing complex characters to life on screen or creating narratives as a writer and producer, Luke's work offers insight into the challenges and successes of the human spirit. Additionally, his short film "Beyond the Boundary" (as writer/actor/producer) recently received the award for Best Debut Filmmaker (Director Tom Conyers) at the Berlin New Wave Film Festival. He has just completed post-production on his new short film "Thunder" (as writer/actor/producer and also director this time). The short film is designed as a proof-of-concept to produce a feature.
