Director Biography - Simon Olivier Fecteau

Simon Olivier Fecteau is a French-Canadian director, screenwriter, and actor. His television projects have won multiple awards in Quebec as well as internationally.
For the past eight years, Simon Olivier has been showrunner, director, and actor in the biggest television show in Canada, Bye-Bye which, in 2020-2021 and 2022, broke the record for the highest ratings in the history of French-language television with almost 5 million viewers with an average of 90% of the market shares.
Between 2012 and 2015, he was also head writer, director, and lead character in three seasons of Ces gars-là (Those Guys), a comedy series in which he shared the screen with international comedian Sugar Sammy.
During his career, Simon created and performed in other projects such as the movie Bluff (2006), three seasons of the sketch comedy show Chick’N Swell (2001-2004), and notably the web series En Audition Avec Simon (2010 - 2018). Despite being on the web, the quality of the series got interest from the biggest players in the industry. International celebrities such as Jay Baruchel, Xavier Dolan, and Marc-Andre Grondin were all featured in different episodes.
