A first-generation migrant nurse is going through a journey of self-introspection. Once, she believed that with an authoritarian nature, she could keep her family close and united. In her quest to keep them close, she inadvertently ends up creating rifts. Now, she realizes that this is not only impacting her family but also affecting her personal health.

In the short, the protagonist is stuck with her work alone while her family is on a Christmas vacation. Out of frustration to spend the Christmas alone, she tries to control and micro manage her family which leads to added frustration.

Can the protagonist escape the trap she had laid out for herself, or will she remain ensnared by her own devices?
