Pocket Change

Pocket Change is the Robin Hood story of a college student who steals money from sub-par patrons to send money back home. After finding out their family is struggling to cover medical bills for their sick younger brother, Robin resorts to conning and pickpocketing to help with treatment costs. After a string of scams and stolen wallets with little payout, Robin attempts their biggest heist yet against the campus asshole. Will they get caught?

Director Statement

This film was made as a part of U of I's senior capstone project for the filmmaking students. Filmed in October of 2023 right on campus, based off a script written in 2021.
