Riya, a camping and photography enthusiast is trying to find new paths and ways to explore life post her graduation. As she gets selected in a photo walk competition, a new path awaits for her. With great enthusiasm and hope as she starts her photo walk competition in the dense jungle, soon finds the dark and scary secrets buried around the place. She experiences things she never imagined and ends up stuck in horror and paranormal phenomena. She begins to doubt her belief that horror does not necessarily mean ghosts but there are energies that can affect your life. Finally, she manages to escape the situation with a shaken core but this time, things get serious and might end up in a bigger mess.

Director Biography - Abhishek Nitin Loknar

Abhishek is an independent filmmaker working as writer, director & producer from Nashik (Maharashtra) since 2015. He is an award winner at 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa (India). He has completed Diploma in Filmmaking from IAFT, Cebu (Philippines) & B.Tech INC from VIT, Pune.
His short film "Anvat (an unusual deed...)"which had been officially selected and screened nationally and internationally. The film was appreciated by Oscar and Emmy award winners like Randy Spendlove. It was screened at film festivals in California, Washington, China, UK, Nigeria, Dada Saheb Phalke Film festival in Mumbai and Ankur film festival in Nashik. He further created a feature short film named "Pandharwada" which was officially selected and screened internationally at film festivals in the UK, Australia and it was the only Indian film to be screened at the semifinals at the CinemaLab Colombia film festival. These films were showcased on leading OTT's like MX Player, Amazon Prime & Television Channel ShortsTV.

Director Statement

"Drigvishay" (Phenomenon) a horror, thriller film tries to discover a unique universe of the existence of energies in specific loactions or objects be it positive or negative. It is based on true experiences of campers, hikers and solo travellers. The film tries to give out a message or a tool to people to triumph over the negative energies thus encouraging people to connect with their mind, body & soul.
