PAL
Tessa Schwartz works at PALS, a company that rents out friends to those who can afford to hire them. When Tessa is commissioned to befriend May Eldemary, an older woman who recently lost her daughter, she begins to develop a connection with her client that goes beyond her professional duties. However, as May tries to fill the hole left by her deceased daughter, Tessa must bridge the gap between the worlds that divide her from her client, or risk losing more than a job.

Brett is a writer and filmmaker studying at Emerson College in Boston. He is fascinated by the relationship between camera, lighting, and audience, and he endeavors to find novel ways of exploring that relationship. Celluloid film, particularly 16mm, is his penchant, and when not writing narratives Brett enjoys designing experimental work, especially multi-projector installations.
