Director Biography

Chris Gorman is primarily a composer and sound designer based in Glasgow, Scotland. As a filmmaker he has worked as an AD on a number of high-profile music videos and is the long-time collaborator of Stuart Alexander, Director of Shootback Productions (http://shootback.co.uk/)

Glitch marks his first time collaborating as a director / editor on a short film project.

With a background in indie rock, and having toured as far afield as Tokyo and New York, he has been composing for theatre and screen since 2015.

Previous work includes several shows with New York company the Blockheads, including their Neal LaBute double bill "Some Girls" and "Strange Fruit", a production of "Dog Sees God" by Bert V. Royal, and "Pooka" by James McLinden; "Macbeth" with Thanks For That Theatre; "The Reason I Jump", an augmented reality treasure hunt for National Theatre of Scotland; comedy web series "Internet Famous"; "Dreams of the Small Gods", a contemporary circus and performance art piece which received both a Made In Scotland award, and Summerhall's Autopsy Award; the soundtrack to "Manifest", a short visual art piece by Stuart Alexander; soundtrack to "Namaste, Bitches!", a comedy show featuring a bombastic big-band musical number.
