what happened to the wolf?

MOE grew up in strict traditions. WAY is rebellious and free-spirited, born with defected heart, shutting everyone off around her so that she can die anonymously. They meet at the hospital when MOE is diagnosed with Neuro Sarcoma. Although outwardly calm, MOE is scared of impending death, finding solace in carefree WAY. This odd pair is drawn to each other. WAY shows MOE simply how to live when MOE is panicking to prepare for her death. MOE eventually realizes that WAY is hiding her own fear of death and deep-rooted traumas. They journey towards the fabled “sea of clouds” before dying, not knowing destiny has a twist in this eternal puzzle called life.

Director Statement

This is my second feature film. I was scared that my second film wouldn't reach the benchmark that my first film had set. When I started writing the script, I forgot all about it. The story and characters came to me quite naturally. When I finished the script, I was happy with it. Whether it would meet the audience's expectations or not, I didn't care anymore. Because I like it.

It's about two terminally ill patients who meet each other at a hospital. I was trying to approach death. But the characters make it all about life. Being alive. After all, death is a part of life.
