ANARKIA is a story in which I express as an author my point of view of seeing the world against contemporary anarchism based on the adaptation of the life story of a person from reality, a girl. A liberal woman who had loaded her life with debauchery and this led her to a philosophy of life where she imposed anarchy, lack of control and the absence of authority from her social nucleus.
Therefore, her philosophy of life and interrelationships would lead her to a catharsis between the world of drugs, heartbreak and depression. So to represent all this conflict for the characterization of the character, I chose the Bogota punk scene to frame the context in which the story takes place. A scene that reflects all the ideals and the current of thought of the real person.
And with this the story was transformed from the naturalism of a woman with anarchist-self-destructive nuances to a story that seeks to transmit heartbreak, addiction, death and loneliness through the character of "Antonia". A punk girl will go through an internal journey with domestic, sexual and social conflicts to reach the catharsis of mourning against her environment and against herself for events that will degenerate her throughout history.
In addition, it seeks to give voice to that range of invisible people as Antonia finds in music and friends her opportunity for change.
"Anarkia" is a social drama related in the Bogota punk scene, the largest in Colombia. For this reason it implies a challenge of which the staging will plausibly portray this universe. A universe where I propose characters that have emerged in a problematic context, of personal crisis, violence and corruption. Living in the midst of this, enduring it and trying to be an artist despite everything, becomes an act of rebellion.
The short film is a thesis on the self-destruction of a character to relate femininity from the author's masculinity through punk, an aesthetic, philosophical, musical movement of a critical and political nature.
