MacKenzie is a Canadian filmmaker that tells offbeat stories in the suspense and dark comedy genres. His inspiration grows from a obsession with graphic novels and his overactive imagination.
The Canadian Carver's story was created as a shock and suspense thriller. This imaginary world pays tribute to the Golden Age of dark, twisted and suspenseful comics that shaped my childhood imagination. The quirky nature of this tale gives it a unintentionally humorous undertone. The film is best enjoyed when it's taken lightly by the moviegoer... along with a stiff beverage.
