Papa Pasquale

A young man dreaming of adventure, Pasquale leaves his family in the olive groves of southern Italy and heads to Canada in 1951. Once there, he must work hard to build a new life and eventually opens a hair salon, bringing his twelve brothers and sisters over to help with the business. Animated to an irresistible tarantella, the film was inspired by the true story of the Folinos, a family of Italian immigrants and the life they built as Canadians.
