JEREMIAH Foo was a music composer arranger and producer. He was commissioned by the Vatican Church to direct and produce a documentary in the Asia Oceania region including Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and India, which won him best of show when it was screened in the Vatican. Following which he assisted Naguib Razak in producing his first feature-length documentary Glass Enclosure, in 2006, he left Malaysia to lead a team to help reform a media school in a University in China, and founded China’s first Convergent Media Lab.
Between 2006 and 2019 he has worked with students to write, produce and direct short and feature length fiction and non fiction film projects; some selected and some winning in festivals in and outside China. He has planned and executed projects that brought students to cover Obama’s first presidential campaign in the United States; the World Cup in South Africa; the Aftermath of the Great Japan Earthquake; and also social and cultural events in Malaysia.
