Pizza Deliverance
Model Pizza Palace employee Mike lives by the motto “when you’re loyal to your job, you’re loyal to your customers and your customers are loyal to you”. A regular delivery at the home of his favourite customer, Naomi Nakatomi, goes awry when he discovers something unsettling. Stuck with new trainee, Shenae; a no nonsense woman who’s had plenty of jobs, but never a career, the pair must put aside their differences to ensure '100% Customer Satisfaction', no matter the cost.

Writer/Director Charnstar Anderson has been
working as a delivery driver at Dominos Pizza
since 2012, and the film industry since 2009.
With a focus on editing and acting, he has won
several awards for short films over the years
(48 Hour Film Project, Moviemania) and
worked on independent feature films (Red
Curtain Hell, The Last Witch). More recently,
he has been using his already set skills to build more skills in writing and directing. Charnstar’s last action
comedy short, L-Plates, was a huge success, winning Best International Comedy at WOEEF and Best Short Film at JMC Martini Awards.
Pizza Deliverance is Charnstar's graduate piece for JMC Academy where he now works when not making films or delivering pizzas.
Pizza Deliverance is me shoving everything I love into one film. I've worked as a pizza delivery driver for 5 years now, and I've met many interesting characters both in the store and on the road. Both of the main characters are different archetypes I've worked with and that never got along, so I thought, "what if they were in a buddy cop movie?"
I wear my inspirations on my sleeve; Shane Black and John McTiernan films were always on in the background when working on this film, and it shows. Like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon, I want people to walk away from this film simultaneously gasping for breath, but wanting more.
