Director Statement

I created Parallel according to Stephen Hawking's and other scientists theories.

Creating a sci-fi movie was kind of risky for me because everything has to has some meanings during the film.
After I finished my screenplay, I shared it with my friends and they told me that It was nearly impossible to film it as a student.

I believed in my project and did some research to find sponsors for my film. I e-mailed companies and told them briefly how much I want to film it.
Because I know, to be successful I had to succeed at what people called impossible.

I arranged meetings with film production companies and read them my synopsis...
In the end, I convinced 4 sponsors to support me for my all expenses. I did all my best to complete my film as a director, producer, editor, and screenwriter. I tried a new camera and lighting techniques.

In conclusion, making a film is not actually about how much money you have.
It's all about how much you believe in your own project. If you believe in yourself more than other people's statements, there will be always supportive people waiting to help you."

Hope you like it.
