I was born in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, due to my father's work, we had to moved to a small town in Argentina, Venado Tuerto, where I lived most of my life. By the age of 12 I started showing interest in cinema and 3d animation. So I started making short films with my Friends of school and family, also I learned how to edit them in Premiere. During High School, local people began to know me for my videos, so they asked me to make or edit videos for them. At the same time I was acting for my school drama lessons, and singing in a Venado Tuerto Institute. In addition to being interested in cinema, I also developed my knowledge in the English language. Knowing that English is something very important to develop a film career, since I was little I learned English at school, I passed the FCE and CAE Cambridge exams and when I was 17 I took an english course in Cambridge.
When I finished high school in 2017, I moved to Buenos Aires City to study Cinema. Now I am studying Cinema in The University of Buenos Aires, where I get to be director and writer with my partners of a short film (PAPA) as a project of the end of the year, in the meantime, I still direct and write independent short films. Last year I made a 6 months intense course of 3D Animation in Escuela Da vinci Institute, Buenos Aires.
Co-Director Biography - Lucia Sanchez
Name: Lucía Sánchez
Birth: November 5th, 1998
Nationality: Argentinian
I was born in Buenos Aires' Outskirts but moved to the city before turning one. My father was a photographer, so I pretty much grew up with a camera on my hands. As a little girl, I was very interested in cinema and photography. I enjoyed recording my friends and family; I would write short scripts, give them to my brother and friends and make them perform for me. I would record and edit the clips and then post them on facebook.
When I’ve hit adolescence, as cliche as it sounds, I’ve lost the interest in pretty much everything. I would still spend my days watching many movies, but I was struggling with depression and I wasn’t filming or taking pictures as I used to. Then I graduated from school and was very unsure whether I should studying film making or not. Since I was also very into fashion I decided to go for it instead. While studying fashion design, I started taking pictures again. I would photograph my then-boyfriend, my friends and some of their fashion projects as well. A year into fashion design, I realized that I wasn’t happy with that career and that indeed I wanted to study film making, and so I did next year, where after a year of learning, practicing and some guidance, I got to direct, along with a college classmate, my first short film (PAPÁ), in November of 2019.
