He was born in Kayseri in 1985.
He took screenwriting and directing classes from the professors of Mersin University's Radio, Television and Cinema Department. He completed his education as a guest student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University's Cinema Department, taking classes on World Cinema and Cinema History.
The documentary "Salman Wants to Go" (2025), which he directed, had its international premiere in the Main Competition of the 31st dokumentART European Film Festival, and its national premiere in the Main Competition of the Izmir International Short Film Festival. Tracing the digital footprints of a Senegalese refugee who disappeared at the European borders, the film won the "Best International Documentary" award at the DOC.Coimbra Film Festival in Portugal, as well as the "Best Documentary" awards at both the İFSAK National Short Film Festival and the Kısa'dan Hisse Short Film Festival.
His previous short films Şekirê Pembû, Uyanış, Kesik, and Fotoğraf were screened at numerous national and international festivals. He works as a director and screenwriter within Memoria Film, of which he is a co-founder. His films also met the audience on national digital platforms. He continues to develop his first feature film project, Her Şey Aynı Anda Kalsa Bile.
