Our Missing Pieces
Our Missing Pieces is a short-film that captures the rare moment of self-reflection in the lives of four drastically different relationships. It begins with various lively shots of Tokyo, Japan, one of the busiest places in the world. Ironically, these peculiar relationships display a quiet intimacy; otherwise lost to the commotion of the city.

When passion fuses with profession the results can be exceptional. For Myles Milne, his passion for film began at an early age, and only grew. From an avid consumer of cinema, to a student in Humber College's "Film and Production" program, a movie fan blossomed into a filmmaker.
Myles' directorial work encompasses a number of genres, with a focus on individuals and their varied motivations. With a keen eye for colour and scene, Myles' work casts a critical look at the mundane and the exceptional.
From his sophomoric breakout shorts to his more mature work, Myles constantly hones his style and skills while producing Canadian feature content. His films continue to resonate with festival audiences and will only grow in impact as his direction takes his work to new heights.
「私の失われた欠片 / Our missing Pieces」-“Sometimes secrets are kept from those we love and sometimes those we love are our secrets”.
I found myself in the one of the worlds most populated cities Tokyo, Japan and couldn't help notice that I was surrounded by so many people all going about living their own complex lives. I was struck by this beauty and wanted to create something that expressed this observation.
