One World-The Ocean of Presence
A glimpse into the future of mankind’s consciousness?
Or just a unique ability of one man alone?
Braco is a man from Croatia who has not spoken to the public since 2004. Instead, he stands on a podium and silently looks at the people who stand in front of him in a group. His gaze seems to lift people to a level of consciousness where anything is possible. They report about dramatic life changing experiences…
Braco was awarded a Peace Pole at a United Nations event in New York, 2012.
The deepest levels of physics are converging together with spirituality, bringing forth the same message - We are all Consciousness. The remarkable story of Braco has the potential to awaken something that already exists in all of us.

After graduating in social pedagogy, Gerald Schank starts an apprenticeship as a camera assistant and sound technician in 1986.
His first work as freelance cinematographer was in 1993 a documentary on Brazilian street kids for German Television (WDR).
The years to come took him to more than 50 countries for cinematographic work on films, such as the award winning short film "Snipers Alley" (2001) and cinema feature film "Mörderischer Frieden" (Lethal Peace, 2007), an anti-war drama filmed in Sarajevo (BiH). In 1999 he founded the production company Fresh.Frames in Cologne and has been producing for tv and advertising agencies ever since.
Slavica Martinovic is a Psychologist (MA, 2010), Autogenic Training Educator (2016) and Yoga Teacher (2017). Her ever-growing interest in human psyche and spirituality led her to film work and interviewing people of various cultures and backgrounds.
Working on the film “One World - The Ocean of Presence” allowed her to speak to people from more than 30 countries about their innermost experiences.
The first time I heard about Braco was in 2011, when a German filmmaker called me and asked if I could do the camera work for his next project. A film about a Croatian healer who looks at people, but does not speak. "How long should the movie be?" - I asked. One hour. I was full of skepticism: "What will you show for an hour if he does not speak?"
As I was filming, a whole new world opened up and I began to understand that our surroundings are more than what we can hear, touch or see.
Years later I had another encounter with Braco. This time it happened that I was allowed to accompany him on his travels for several years and could make countless conversations with the visitors. I felt that there is a great need in the world, regardless of nationality or confession, for a place where people can be together without fear, hate, envy or sadness. During an encounter, it looks like all differences are just illusions. Visitors were telling me that they feel that when Braco gaze at them, they feel one with the people around them. Some start to cry.
How do you communicate that in a movie? I found an answer in the books of the Croatian scientist Drago Plecko about Braco. There he published quotes from conversations he had had with Braco, which may be a key to understanding for those who wish to delve deeper into the phenomenon. The film project "One World - The Ocean of Presence" was born together with Slavica Martinovic as co-author. With her experience as a psychologist she led many of the conversations with the people in front of the camera.
The movie was completed in May 2019. Two parts have been created with a total length of around 2 hours and 40 minutes, the latter (93 minutes) being intended for an audience that is hearing of Braco for the very first time.
