Director Biography - Nyan Kyal Say

Nyan Kyal Say (Mandalay, Myanmar, 1994) is a Burmese freelance animation artist as well as a house surgeon. He makes animations, draws cartoons and illustrations for edutainment for people especially in Myanmar, besides the medical career.

“My Life I Don’t Want” is a short animation about a Myanmar girl inspired by true events happened in Myanmar.
This animated film artistically shows the series of changes and obstacles what the girl had faced in her life since she was born until her adolescent life, as well as points out the difficulties, troubles and the losing rights which the Myanmar girls really have been facing nowadays. So, the animation will give the audiences both knowledge and flavor.
Moreover, since the animation, “My Life I Don’t Want”, also motivates the audiences to help such girls as they can afford, this animation will benefit for the audience to watch as well as for the rights of children and women.
