My Body is a Vessel
This film is set to a poem I wrote when feeling trapped in my body and touches on the ways invisible pain affects my life. I've been dealing with increasing joint and mobility issues as well as working to heal after a sexual assault. In trying to feel free despite the limitations of my body, I turn to self acceptance, self love, and learning to become more comfortable in my queer identity.

I am a queer filmmaker in my second year of film and human rights + equity at York University. I love exploring themes of self love, healing, and queer exploration. I find that these topics are so freeing to make art about, and I hope that when others see my work they will feel seen and heard!
