MUFF
MUFF is a gross movie about gay guys with questionable
morals. Adam is a former hustler, current odd-job man coping with the loss of his dad. Bela, a finger puppeteer, is two months sober from cocaine, alcohol, and methamphetamine. They’re a month behind on rent.

OJ is a pearl in the sea, Quinn is the lucky penny of New Orleans. Together, they have what it takes to be America's next top model. They also make movies.
We make movies for bozos. Real scum. We admire them.
We are OJ Parker and Quinn Young, diminutive queer filmmakers from south Louisiana. OJ, 20, has fostered a love for filmmaking since he saw Jaws when he was 9 and was really into all the shirtless pictures of young Steven Spielberg behind the scenes. The stories that have always excited him the most are ones of people living on the fringes and the outskirts, a result of early discovery of films like Pink Flamingos and Gummo. Those films felt like home to him as a young trans fag lacking the vocabulary to describe why he felt off-center. Quinn, 19, used to write scripts in math class and their teachers would get really mad and a little mean and it hurt their feelings. They kept doing it anyway. Like OJ, Quinn is instantly drawn to the stories of outsiders. That, alongside obtuse practical effects and weird robot shit. Quinn wants to rot inside a CRT and live in the little wires, but more importantly make movies that embody that.
Aside from some minor student projects, this is our first real effort as independent filmmakers. OJ holds occasional positions as a production assistant, and he’s sick of it! We are known in our school’s film program for our drive to help others get their shit together and have worked on student sets in a wide variety of capacities, from camera operation, to sound mixing, to production design and beyond.
With this film and our future efforts, we want to take a staunch anti-assimilationist perspective and amplify the voices of bad queers, evil queers, and poor faggots. We’re tired of having to write stories about good gays that can make a lot of money and make everyone happy, we want to see real people on the screen. We want to see our friends, our lovers, and ourselves on the screen. We make our films with respect to those that came before us like John Waters, Gregg Araki, and Bruce LaBruce and always keep our stories independent and raw. We don’t mind showing a little skin.
