LateNiteSnax is a production company lead by Houstonian Michael "Witnes" Zapata, who's also the executive producer, director and writer for documentary film Ben DeSoto: For Art's Sake. Zapata's partner Andrew Benavides of AB Visuals Film is co-executive producer, creative director and editor for the documentary. Writer Iren Siosan also contributed to the script, film content and narration. For Art's Sake unearths the history of Houston music and chronicles the body of work spanning 30 years by photojournalist Ben DeSoto. In a personal story, DeSoto reflects on his shooting assignments, the lost art of developing film, the transition from manual to digital media, and the love For Art’s Sake.
