Michael Carvaines is a Professor of Media Production at the University of Florida. In addition to writing and directing over 25 films he has also worked on the advertising campaigns for nearly 100 movies for Focus Features, New Line Cinema, and Dreamworks Animation. He earned an MFA in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BBA from the University of Michigan. Michael is a busy father of two, a sometimes radio DJ, and a one-time "Jeopardy!" contestant.
