Mew Kano, Chihiro Kaijo, Maya Lowery and Aria Kanazawa, all 16, are currently tenth grade students at Gunma Kokusai Academy, Japan. The four students created "Memory" for their school's film-making class, Globe, and tackled pre-production, shooting and editing by themselves. "Memory" was nominated for GKA's annual film festival and was awarded first prize by director Nobuhiro Suwa.
“Memory” is an accurate representation of our individual personalities and views throughout the making of the film. While making the film, we discussed things we don’t usually consider. Memory is a topic that was right in front of us but usually slips through our fingers, something we assume is simple but is in reality incredibly complex.
