Lukasz Zieba, a native of Kraków, Poland, former artistic gymnast and member of the Junior National Team of Poland, under direction of Monika Mysliwiec he graduated from L’Art de la Danse Cracow Dance Academy receiving National Diploma in dance from Federation Internationale des Acteurs. Lukasz was the winner of the Best Solo Award All Categories at the Dance World Cup in Villach, Austria in 2012. Shortly after he moved to New York to study at The Ailey School on a full scholarship. He took part in Cedar Lake 360 Installation where he performed works by Andonis Foniadakis, Sidi Larbi Cherkoui and company members of Cedar Lake.
He also participated in Springboard Danse Montreal which was made possible by receiving a scholarship from the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw, Poland. While in Montreal for two summers of 2014 and 2015 he performed works by Shannon Gillen, Banning Bouldin, Sylvain Emard and Helen Simoneau.
He had a chance to perform with a pop icon Grace Jones in her show in Zurich, Switzerland in choreography by Jonathan Huor.
As a freelance artist in New York he worked with The DASH Ensemble, Malcolm Low Formal Structure, Julia Gleich, ZEST Collective and Terra Firma Dance Theater.
Lukasz Zieba later joined Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, where he performed works by Cayetano Soto, Alejandro Cerrudo, Nicolo Fonte, Jorma Elo and Jiri Kylian.
He currently dances with The Metropolitan and Austin McCormick's Company XIV where he performed as a lead role in Nutcracker Rouge.
On the creative side he choreographed on So You Think You Can Dance (Poland), as well as presented his works in various venues and festivals in New York NY, Miami FL, Richmond VA and Poland.
